Welcome to the website of Tiffany Consort, one of New York City's most distinguished vocal ensembles. On this site you will find details of our upcoming season of concerts in New York, information on purchasing tickets, recordings and making donations to our organization, biographies of our singers, and news of our out-of-town appearances, perhaps at a location near you.
Our 2007-2008 season will include major choral works, such as Palestrina's Stabat Mater, Schütz's Musicalische Exsequien, Bach's Motets Komm, Jesu, komm, Singet dem Herrn, and Der Geist hilft, Scarlatti's Stabat Mater and Miserere, Britten's Hymn to St. Cecilia, Duruflé's Requiem, and the world premiere of the choral version of Nicholas White's From Earth To Heaven: Six Middle English Lyrics. Programs will also include motets by Byrd, Tallis and Victoria, music from the Anglican Choral Tradition by Harris, Howells, Naylor, Parry, Stanford and White, and traditional folksongs and spirituals.
