O Magnum Mysterium
A concert of music for the Christmas season, featuring selections from the group's critically acclaimed, Grammy nominated CD recording, together with traditional carol arrangements. Featured are various early settings of the O Magnum Mysterium text, including Victoria's complete mass, and works by Poulenc, Lauridsen and White.
Bach Motets
This virtuoso program offers a rare opportunity to hear Bach motets in their purest form. From the exuberance of Singet dem Herrn to the poignant eloquence of Komm, Jesu, komm, eight singers perform these masterpieces, one voice to a part.
Schütz & Brahms
Two great German masters from different time periods are represented in this program. The masterful funeral mass, Musicalische Exequien, by Heinrich Schütz is paired with double choir motets of Johannes Brahms, including Warum ist das licht gegeben and Fest-und Gedenkspruche, Opus 109.
Monteverdi Madrigals
A full program of madrigals for one to five voices and continuo by Claudio Monteverdi, one of baroque music's most influential composers. Featured works include hits like Zefiro Torna and Lamento della Ninfa.
